Children with diverse learning needs face unique challenges in their day-to-day activities.
With the right support from caregivers and professionals, they can thrive to reach their full potential. This event will focus on the care and support for children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), covering the following topics:
- Behavioural perspective: Recognising and understanding the unique learning requirements of SENs and empowering them to achieve full potential socially and within the school system
- Effective communication: Open communication between parents and other professionals
- Legal perspective: What is in the best interest of the child, child custody and access and how maintenance orders can be established
- Access to resources: Resources (emotional and physical) that are available at school and community
